Here we are again!

Brooke and I went to clinic this Monday. No major changes, they decreased some of her meds again. We hope to get her off her IV's by Christmas.
Wednesday my friend Sarah babysat Brooke and Thursday we had private duty nurse. It all worked out well and Steve and I are so fortunate for help. It does us all good to be able to work and have some "normalcy." Tonight Steve and I are SUPPOSE to go away over night with friends. Steve's sister was coming to stay with Brooke and the other girls are at Brent and Lynn's. As we all know Brooke doesn't like us to have plans, so we are back up at the "spa." It seems like maybe she got a stomach flu bug (that is our best guess at this point). She was dry heaving Thursday, but that is not uncommon, Friday it was worse and we weren't able to keep her feedings down, so we tried pedialyte. She was up alot last night crying and not liking life. So we turned off her feedings and she goes to sleep. She has yet to figure out you must eat to survive. I called Dr Mageed this am and he met us at the hospital. It works out nice that we just walk up to the floor and they give us a room. So, as much as we don't want to be here, it's where Brooke needs to be. They started IV fluids and she has perked up, is kicking, smiling and chewing on her pulse ox cords :) The girls were sad but understanding, and they sound like they are having a riot with Uncle Brent and Aunt Lynn. We made Brooke apologize to Aunt Lisa, that they didn't get cuddle time tonight. "Sorry Aunt Lisa!"
We are waiting yet on some tests so we'll keep you posted.
