Well, we are getting closer to Monday. Steve is the realistic one and says, "the results might not be back, everything is always late." True, but a girls gotta dream :) The week was crazy busy and that turned out to be good. No time to think, just keep going. Steve finished harvest on Wednesday, after being up for approximately 40 hours. He then slept a long time. He's still busy with trucking but at least is home more at night. Steve and his winning tickets

Friday night we went to Chuck E Cheese with the older girls. That is the traditional after harvest celebration. No better place to let your kids run, play games (adults too) and watch people. It's fun for all ages. My parents took the twins for a few hours, so the 3 older girls had both parents and no crying babies.
The house is done (for now) :) The siding and eaves are on, windows and doors in. Steve and I have the front room to finish and the porch and railings will be done in the Spring. But all the big stuff is done. I'll post pictures when I take them. The snow kind of covers it up.
A 'new to us' van is to be picked up Monday! We went and looked at one today and I guess, it's "the one." I'm not really fussy, it's a van :) I had my stipulations and those were met. We still have the old one and we told the girls we were going to leave it out front and put Christmas lights on it. They did not think that was funny. Steve told me it could go to the junk yard and I said "no." I might shed a tear if our loser cruiser gets scrapped out.
As nervous as I was for the crazy week it all worked out well. I do have to say, every scenario has gone through Steve and my heads. The good, bad and ugly. I think our worst fear is no plan at all, and yet again, WAIT. We just want a plan, we want to know something, anything at this point. Usually after transplant you wait 100 days for engraftment. We have now waited 8 months. However, they have definitely been 8 wonderful months.
Baking Christmas cookies! SUGAR HIGH!!!
One more thing.....the speech therapist saw Brooke this week. She tested Brooke last week and they came back she is cognitively NORMAL! Her speech, fine motor and processing are all where they need to be. Yeah God!! So now we need to get the little lady up on her feet and we'll be good to go! (Oh yeah, and eating). Watch out world here come ALL the Koeman ladies :)
