Quick update

Meg's went to Orthopaedic yesterday. It was the quickest appointment ever! They said there was only 1 MD there, so I guess I shouldn't expect that next time. Anyway, they showed me her xray. Yep, it's broke. Her radius is angulated and displaced (which means it's not really where it needs to be). But if it stays where it is, it'll just heal with a bump and as she grows, she'll grow into the bump. We go back next week for another xray. If it stays in place we are good to go and we wait 5 weeks. If it's moved she has to have it "set" in place. We pray it stays put. Meg is awesome. She keeps pluggin along. She did take a nap finally yesterday. Grandma Koeman came over so Steve and I could go to church together. Today the girls and I are home. I am so relieved! I went from complaining about "house arrest", to "please just let us sit home in our bubble." :) I just want to have fun and enjoy the girls, so that's our plan.
Coloring Easter Eggs.
I thought I'd share my devotions today.

"The final prayer of Jesus was about YOU! His final passion and pain was for you. God couldn't turn his back on you. He saw you right in the middle of the world which isn't fair. He saw you cast into the river of life you didn't request. He saw you with a body that gets sick and a heart which grows weak....... He would rather go to hell for you than go to heaven without you. "
Luke 22:41 "Then Jesus went about a stone's throw away from them. He kneeled down and prayed."
I have heard alot of people talk about their illness' and people even ask us, "why?" Someone asked me, "Do you ever wonder what you did to deserve this?" Nope I don't wonder. These are worldy bodies and our mission is to glorify Him while we are here and to show others, His way is so fulfilling. He died for us, He knew our struggles and he'll carry us through. As my girls favorite song goes: "this is our temporary home."
Have a great Easter everyone. Enjoy the time with family. His sacrifice is far greater than any worldly struggles.
