Spring Break

Watching the rain.

Standing up, looking out the window.

Well Spring Break is almost over. I was fortunate to only work 2 days this week. We got outside some but the rain has kinda been a bummer. We've had some pretty lazy days. Movies, sleeping in, coloring, baking, but it's time to get back on a schedule. Ashley starts kindergarten 4 days a week after break. Hopefully we are ready for that. Meg's had her ortho appt today and her arm looks good. So she keeps the cast on til May and then it should be able to come off. He said no softball, which she is bummed about. This was her 1st year to play. He also said no ramming, jumping or rough housing. He asked her if she'd been doing any of that. She looked at me, I shrugged, "no?????" Does the trampoline count, running after her sisters, tackling them?? We'll try to calm things down around here. :)
Brooke has been standing up more next to furniture (if we stand her up there) and she was scooting around the driveway on a Little Tykes bike. I was totally amazed and excited.
Easter Sunday Steve stayed at my parents with the twins while the girls and I went to their church. We got to eat with family at my Aunts. (I'm also back to eating my candy, I'm sure everyone was wondering :)

As I was sitting in church I saw so many families that were in need of prayers, help and healing. Some physical healing, others emotional. It broke my heart. You just want to reach out and make everyone better. There were people I wanted to hug until they didn't hurt anymore. But that isn't always our job, as much as we want it to be. I asked someone how I could help, they said "pray." There is one lady that always stands out to me. She's a small, little lady, in her 80's, hands up to the heavens, singing, praising and praying to our King! What a Woman! She makes me smile, you can see her heart just by looking at her. I was blessed by seeing the people I can pray for and by trying to follow the example of a little 80 year old lady.
Have a great week. Nice weather is around the corner again.

Love the video! Even though we may be going through our own individual journey it's so important to realize that others need our prayers and compassion as well. No matter what we're going through, there's always so much to be thankful for! Your positive attitude is always an inspiration. :)
