The Tuesday update!

We are still here! Fortunate enough to be in a great big room with a terrific view. I'll show ya when I remember my camera. Brooke had a rough day Monday. Scream fest!!!! She was mad at the world. My poor husband! He is so calm and patient. She seems to have a fear of stethoscopes (she has at home too) but it has intensified here. She also doesn't get sleep because someone is always bugging her. Last night I told them to write in there chart, "MOM REFUSES ASSESSMENT!" Leave my kid alone! They were very nice about it and left Brooke alone. She had a great night, she took a nap today and is happily playing with her toys from home. Grandma Blueberry came and played with her. So today has been so much better.
They have restarted her feedings and are decreasing her TPN and steroids. We are getting closer to home, but my "wish" of Thursday has turned into a Friday wish.
Steve and I are so fortunate to have so much help! You are all amazing! Thank you! I don't feel pressure or stress of anything that has to be done. God will show us.
As strange as it may seem, it has been really good to see the great nurses and staff up here and get caught up on their lives. They all have a special place in our hearts. We will pray for a couple more good days and then home :)
