That might be a premature Title, but that's how I feel. I feel like I'm trying to cram everything in, and soon the kids will be back in school. I am soooo not ready! I think they need off til October. But that's not reality, so we'll make do with what time we have left of summer. The end of July we went camping with the Hulsts and Balders. We had a riot, even in the 90 degree weather. My poor prego friends did amazing! They are pregnant, running after little ones, camping and it's 90 degrees. I do think they are super women!! We had a great time and had lots of pool time.
After that Ashley and I went to Chicago with grandma for 2 days. When the girls are in 1st or 2nd grade I take them to Chicago to the American Girl doll store and the zoo. We took the Amtrak and had a great time. Not sure Ashley remembers being without sisters, so it was a good break for her. Grandma and I had fun too, and Steve survived at home.
Megan is gone at Camp Geneva for a week. She has 4 friends in her cabin and I can't WAIT for her to get home. We miss her like crazy! On Monday Steve dropped off Ashley and I at the train station and then went to Camp Geneva to drop of Megan. I said bye to Megan, hugged her and cried and cried. Steve saw me and said, "ok see ya," and they were off. Good thing for calm dad's :) It's scary enough being gone for 6 days and then your mom turns into a blubbering idiot. But Megan didn't seem to bothered and was excited to have fun. We got 1 letter that says she's having a great time. We get to go pick her up on Saturday. I'm ready!!
That's about it for us. We have camping yet the end of the month, and Ashley has her tonsils out August 16. We wanted to get that in before school starts. Brooke did have numbers drawn but we don't have them all in yet. I actually haven't even thought about it much. She also had some blood drawn for her growth hormone stuff. I guess I better call the MD to see his interpretation of those too. I saw the numbers, and my interpretation is she isn't making much for growth hormone. Not new news. I am happy to say, that hasn't had to be our focus right now.
So refreshing :)
