Time flies!

20 years ago, I was wearing high waisted jeans (that were surf rolled), a white sweater thing, white flats and really TALL hair. I pulled up to a large farm house in my white convertible to pick up this boy. He was wearing jeans, a green shirt, and black cowboy boots. He came out of the house and said, "my family wants to meet you, wanna come in." I smiled and said, "sure." In my head I was like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, RUN!!! There were ALOT of faces staring at me through that window. That was a long long time ago and I love all those faces!!
Now, I live next door to that white farm house and guess how many faces look out our front window? Yup 5! Just like there use to be next door. God has brought us a long way in 20 years. I am so blessed to have grown up with this amazing man. Styles have changed (for some, not for Steve :) but we are still the same, just stronger!

I do have a confesssion.........Steve was gone almost 2 weekends ago. I wanted to do something fun with the girls. So I thought, Crazy Bounce! A couple people said, "really Shelly." But I did it and I don't feel guilty or regret it. Brooke had soooo much fun! But 2 days later she got a cold. Wonder where that came from?!?!? It's not major, it's just annoying. Snotty nose and coughing. The MD said he'd give her antibiotics but I want her to get over it on her own. So we'll see. She has an appt Spring Break. If she's not over it then we'll consider antibx. Sometimes I have to see what will happen. It's my personality. Unfortunatley she couldn't go to church because she was hacking. So I just need to strategically plan my outtings :)

On to hair: 5 lady's (and a mom) = lots of hair!! I was informed by my beautiful daughter that my hair needed to be de-greyed again. I actually appreciate this! I need all the help I can get. We don't do haircuts very often so we all trugded to Kristi's for the summer do. Megan had enough for "Locks of Love." SWEET! So she looks adorable and gets to help someone else.
One more thing and I am done, I promise! The WEATHER!! What the world!! I don't want to complain, because I do love it. But there is a deep down feeling of, "what is happening?" You see, I grew up a fruit farmers daughter, and I married a cash crop farmer. These types of farms are much different but one thing remains, they rely on weather. Pray for the farmers and crops. This weather is messing with the crops as much as the farmers heads!

Thanks for listening. Happy Spring!!
