We're here!

Our goals have been met! I took pictures and all 5 children are here with Grandpa and Grandma. I must say, you can prepare, and I prepared for the worst! Low expectations, never thought about weather!!! Steve said "maybe we should leave Saturday am." I said "do you REALLY think the weatherman is right?" We both laugh, "no!" So we leave. Here are my notes :)
4pm Leave for Florida
6:30p Potty Break. Steve instructs 4 females they better learn to hold their urine.
7:25p Traffic jam. Looks like an accident ahead of us. Roads slushy, Steve says, "people need to learn to drive."
8:38p Still sitting, in park! Watching 'Punky Brewster', ate snacks, limited fluids.
8:55p WE MOVED!!! (a few feet)
10:25p Not even in Indianapolis yet! Haven't eaten supper, stuck between exits. WHY DID WE DO THIS! There is an exit in 0.7 miles
10:27p Called my mom crying. This is a STUPID idea!! I will NOT laugh about this!
10:48: I prayed/begged traffic to move! Take over God, I'm not doing to well. In over 2 hours we've gone <15 miles.
11:30p At Holiday Inn Express. Not suppose to take Brooke to a hotel. I cried again. Steve Graciously offered to sleep in the van with Brooke. Nope, we have to trust Him, not worry about a germ infested hotel! We can feel God's peace, it's ok.
12 am Steve got McDonalds! The girls LOVE the hotel.
12:30 a Big Girls Sleeping. OH WHAT A NIGHT!!!

8:30a I talked to my brother and told him the story. He said "No way!" I told him we are the Grizwalds! He said "your van is in 1 piece so you are not the Grizwalds." Brent gave me a "pep talk." Enjoy the family time, take some benedryl, and have a "Koeman Adventure." Thanks Brent! LOVE YOU!!!
9:53a All Koeman's fed and slept. The hotel was a hit with the girls. Traffic is moving, leaving Lebenon.
10:57a Re routed again!!!! Highway shut down. Roads are only wet! SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, GO TO DRIVERS TRAINING!!!
12:55p In Kentucky, we've moving. Brooke pooped an hour ago. Smells great in here :)
1:03p Jammin to Jimmy Buffet, playing car games.
2P Ate at Wendy's, changed diapers, ran IV's, movies running, Macy snoring.
3:35p In Tennensse. Still some snow! Steve says the snow if "woofing" around. That's a funny word! Steve and I also want an intercom like in the airplanes so we can interupt the girls movies to narrate the trip.
4:34p Macy is yanking on Ashley's ponytail.
5p Shelly moved to the back seat to entertain babies. Brooke is laughing at Steve singing Bass to kids songs.
7:15p Stopped at Subway and run the kids. We are at a truck stop, don't run to far, scary people. Stopped at the TA truck stop, we decided it should be WT. Shelly driving.
12a Switched drivers. 3 kids sleeping.
2:09a Steve is playing Air fiddle. Shelly is LAUGHING!!
3:23a WE ARRIVED! Goal met!
Will we do this again??? We'll we must get home. We have a week to decide.
