Macy crawled this morning!! I'm not sure why I am SOOO excited about this, but I am. I got so excited that she stopped crawling, sat up and clapped for herself! Brooke started waving her hands and laughing.

Then Brooke decided to show off. Brooke does not use her legs. She uses them for balance to sit and occasional kick something over but she will not put weight on them. As a mom this is concerning. The doctors say, leave her alone, she'll do it. Well after Macy's crawling business, I picked up Brooke and she straightened out her legs and stood up. YEAH!! Again we all got excited and clapped! So her legs do work. All in Brookie time.
It's going well. Brooke's albumin level was low. Typically they do not do those infusions at home, they say it's a blood product and the insurance won't pay for a nurse to sit here for 6 hours. Well our WONDERFUL doctors said, nope, it will be done at home. So we did that infusion yesterday. Every things portable so we could still go for walks and do what we had to do. She goes back to clinic tomorrow (Friday). She's getting stronger and dealing well with our crazy life style of 5 kids. She also learned to turn off her infusion pump. I blamed Ashley yesterday for turning off the pump, today Ashley is gone and Miss Brooke had her fingers on it. Time to apologize to Ash. :) I hope in the next week to get back some results on her immune system. They don't draw those labs as often. They are spacing out the labs more. We'll keep you updated. THANKS!!!
SWEET DREAMS MISS BROOKE!!
